According to Homeland Security, an attack here in the U.S. by terrorist using bio-chemicals is the most feared and dangerous of the terrorist threats.
A single terrorist with self inflicted smallpox could infest hundreds of people in a city simply by walking the crowded streets or coughing and sneezing while riding the subways and trains at rush hour.
Anthrax could easily be spread into the air by crop duster planes, spread from the exhaust of an automobile as it drives around a city, or thru the air/heat ducts of a mall or large office building, etc.
All of these spores can be filtered from the air (even nerve and mustard gases) if you are prepared before the attack.
