AST™ has stocked the " In-home Family Survival Room" with everything a family of 4 will require for a minimum of 7 days, should the need for sheltering occur.

Water is stored in a 30-gallon tank in the chest of drawers, fresh filtered air is supplied via the filtration system located in a small decorative cabinet. All the other items are stored in a plastic low-profile bin, out of site under the bed.

Items stored in the bin are as follows:

• 7 day supply of food (both hot ready meals & canned goods) for 4 adults
• chemical toilet complete with privacy shelter, bags, wipes & chemicals
• short wave radio - no batteries required
• florescent lights, flashlight, LED lights, candles, waterproof matches
• Geiger counter
• oxygen and carbon dioxide monitor
• bio-chemical suits (4) and full masks (4)
• first aid kit
• bio-chemical wash
• radiation tablets and vitamin B-12
